We are beginning native iOS app development under Hamelton Software, with Android planned after the iOS release.

Driver Watchdog is taking its next step: native iOS app development is beginning under Hamelton Software. Android is planned to follow after the iOS release.

Built around the platform you already use

The website remains the foundation. Our direction for the app is to connect with existing Driver Watchdog accounts and records, bringing everyday tools into a native phone experience.

After more than two years developing the platform, we are focusing on making it easier to keep useful records while you work—not adding another chore at the end of a long shift.

Less manual entry is a priority

Mileage and profit tracking are part of the mobile roadmap. We are also exploring ways to reduce manual entry and help drivers capture the details they might otherwise forget. Specific automation features will be announced as they are built and tested.

What happens next

The iOS app is in development and is not available to download yet. We have not announced a release date. We will share progress here as the app takes shape, followed by Android updates after iOS launches.

In the meantime, you can keep using the Driver Watchdog web platform from your phone or computer and help shape what comes next through feature requests.
